About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

An INDIAN passport holder. Traveling from New Delhi to Myanmar via Guangzhou.

I wish to apply for 72 hour free transit for Guangzhou for sightseeing and meeting friends.Please advice. Do I need an invitation letter from a Chinese national for 72 hr free transit or a hotel booking? Kindly guide if I am missing out any other requirements for a hassle free trip.

Hi, you are not eligible for 72 hr free transit in Guangzhou. You should apply for a transit G type for the trip beforehand. It's no need to show invitation letter and hotel booking for the application, but the confirmed tickets to Myanmar are required.
