About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

SIN/PEK/MAD 72h free

Hi, my flight will depart Singapore Dec 07th 00h15 arriving 06h00 at Beijing, I pretend to use the 72h free-transit until Dec 10th 00h00 when I will fly to Spain. Calculating I have less than 72h, is it ok to apply after arrival at Beijing, correct? Or I need to count the time of departure from Singapore?
