So would half day be enough to visit the summit of the jade snow mountain? Should i visit during the moaning or the afternoon. Could you please breakdown the time of visiting the mountain, for example :it takes 40 min to reach the base from lijiang town and the climb time , etc.We are only interested of visiting the summit area.thanks in advance

As I know, it takes about 30 minutes to the top by cable car. Half a day may be a little rushing, so you are suggested to go there in the morning. It takes about 50 minutes from LJ to the mountain. By the way, you can take bus 7 from Hongtaiyang Square, which costs CNY20.

It was incredibly busy when I went yesterday - queuing for tickets, then for the bus to the cable car, then the car itself.  Definitely go in the morning as early as possible (when he sky is also usually clearer) half a day is pushing it.  Very hard to get to the top of the walkway without oxygen
