About:Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

Transfer to Panda Research Base

Good evening,
Is there any direct transfer to the Panda Research Base? We are two citizens from Hungary and Spain, having a 7½ hour scale at TFU. Is it possible to pay by card in the taxis?

I'm afraid the time is too tight as the single journey from the airport to the panda base generally takes about 2 hours. So it is not suggested to get out of the airport. BTW, it is better prepare cash to pay the taxis.

Take Metro Line 18 from the airport to South Railway Station and then transfer to Metro Line 1 to Sichuan Gymnasium Station. After that, transfer to Metro Line 3 to Junqu General Hospital Station. Get out of the Exit A and there is still about 2km from the panda base. You can choose to take a taxi.
