About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 HR visa free transit, double return to SH

Hi,

If I travel from Kazan, Russian to Shanghai to Osaka to Shanghai to Kazan, is this free transit or would I need to get a full tourist L? I would be in SH less than 144 hrs each time.

Dustin, if your layover in Shanghai won’t exceed 144 hours each time, you don’t need to apply for a full tourist L type. You can use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai each time.
