About:Shenzhen - Guilin High Speed Train

Shenzhen to Guilin early in morning, from Hong Kong

Hello,
We want to book a train to Guilin a morning at 7.21am. The thing is that we will come from Hong Kong, so we cannot get the tickets being delivered at our hotel. Do you think it is possible to pick up the tickets on the morning when we will arrive at around 5.30am ? Isn't it too late?

It's ok to pick up the paper ticket on the morning of your departure date. It can not be collected in Hongkong, but only in railway stations in mainland china. You'd better get to the station and collect it as early as possible, 60-90 mins in advance will be fine.

Hi dufour!

we are also doing the same trip on December 2017, we live in Yuenlong in HK and the best way to do it is to look for a cheap accommodation near Shenzhen North Railway Station, like Shenzhen Shuya Apartment (40HKD per night in dorm time room, just saw it in booking.com which is 0.4km away from station) the day before your trip because the Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau border only opens at 0630H which doesn't give you enough time to reach the train at 0721H timely. Hope that helps.
