About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London - Beijing - Auckland

I am planning to travel from London to Auckland with a 48 hour stopover in Beijing - however, my flight from Beijing to Auckland stops in Guangzhou (where I don't plan to leave the airport).

Can I use the 72 hour free transit or do I need to get a full entry permit?

Thanks

You have two stops in China, and this immediately limits you to 24 hours visa-free transit (from scheduled arrival in Beijing to scheduled departure from Guangzhou), unless you get a visa.
