Hi. Can you please clarify is it necessary to validate Octopus card both when you get on and get off the buses off only when you get off? And does the same principle apply when using trams?Many thanks for your reply

To use buses, you only need to scan the card when getting on. But for trams, you don't need to pay. When getting to the destination, you should scan the card in the front door and get off.
