About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Single or Double entry. Shanghai cruise to Nagasaki

Hi all.

We are family group with Australia and Indonesia passports flying from Jakarta to Shanghai to start the cruise to Nagasaki and back to Shanghai, next we are going to Beijing.

Is it Single or Double entry visa that we gonna need?

Hi, if you will travel like Jakarta-Shanghai(less than 24 hours)-Nagasaki-Shanghai and Beijing(less than 24 hours)-another country or region instead of Japan, you can enjoy 24 hour direct transit in China twice, no need to apply for a visa for that.

Thanks.
We gonna stay a night or two before cruising from Shanghai to Nagasaki, then back to Shanghai for couple nights. Fly to Beijing for 4 nights and back to Shanghai to fly back to Jakarta.

So, it is like 1st entry to Shanghai, then cruise out to Japan, back to Shanghai. I am not sure this is counted 2nd entry.

Shanghai-Nagasak-Shanghai cannot enjoy 24 hour direct transit for it's not a transit at all. Try to apply for a visa for that.
