Does kids age 6years old below need to pay shanghai subway ? And what is the fare like?

Oh, they need to pay. It is regulated that kids under 1.3m in height can take subway for free. An adult is allowed to take one kid only under the circumstance; if taking more than one, other kids need to pay the same as adult.1
