About:Chinese Consulates in Japan

I am a US citizen living in Japan. How can I apply for a visa to visit Shanghai?

Hello, I live in Japan but I am a US citizen. The closest Chinese consulate is Fukuoka. Can I apply to visit Shanghai there? I have all the required paperwork, I just want to know where I can apply. Thank you in advance! - Gabe

Hi, you should apply from the CVASC (Chinese Visa Application Service Centers) where your living area belongs to.
