U.S. passport holder born in China

I have no Chinese documents (no passport, no birth certificate) and my parents are deceased. However, I have a U.S. passport that indicates that I was born in China. Will I have any problems with a 72 hr transit visa?

Marcia, USA passport holders can qualify for the 72 hour free transit in China. There is no problem for you to apply for it as long as you are qualified. Don't worry!
