About:China Visa Application in USA

How can I apply for a Chinese Visa in Kenya or is it possible?

I am in Nairobi Kenya and needing to travel to Beijing China and then catch my International Flight back to the United States; airline tickets & hotel reservation and an event have all been paid for in advance. My flight is scheduled to leave on Oct 2, 2017 1329 hr from Nairobi International Airport.

Hi, it's possible for you to get a visa from the embassy in in Kenya. You should first prepare passport and the copy, the filled-out application form, a passport-style photo, valid entry permit or residence permit in there, hotel reservation, flight itinerary and other requirements. Next, submit the application to China embassy.
But if you will fly like Kenya-Beijing(less than 72 hours)-USA, there is no need for you to apply for a visa for the trip for you can enjoy 72 hr free transit in Beijing.
