About:China Transit Visa

Transit visa for Egyptian passport holder?

I currently live in South Korea and want to go to Cambodia for a holiday. The flight available transits via China for a few hours. Do I need a transit G or can I just proceed to my onward flight to Cambodia?

Could you please provide your detailed travel route and the layover time in China so that I can tell you if you need a visa?

Hi Warren

I want to go to fly to Siem Reap or Phnom Penh from Seoul where I currently live. I want to go for two weeks. There are few direct flights so have to go via Guangzhou in China, and then on to Siem Reap. The flight back goes the same way.

The transit time in Guangzhou on the first flight is 2 hours 25 minutes. The transit time on the way back is 1 hour 35 minutes.

I have my residence permit for South Korea and will be issued a visa in Cambodia on arrival.

Any information you can offer would be great!

Hi, you are eligible for 24 hr direct transit policy in Guangzhou in both directions, and there is no need to apply for a visa for that. Nice trip!
