144 hour transit visa issue

Hi.

Am travelling London to Shanghai for 4 days then onto vietnam.
Presumably I qualify for 144 hour free transit ????

Do I need a vietnam entry permit already to prove am in transit or is the flight booking evidence

thanks

Only the flight booking is relevant as you are exempted from obtaining a Vietnamese visa.
