china visa entry requirements

What are visa requirements and type if some one going to china for a research conference with few days stay and had invitation letter from the organizers?

Sara, you can apply for a visit M or F type for that. The required documents include passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from the organizer and an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit. The organizer can get the invitation letter of a duly authorized unit for you.
