how to get a taxi from t3, pek to badaling great wall

Question

I will arrive T3 at 3.30pm from Vancouver and have 24 hour layoff.Would there be enough time for me to go straight to Badaling Great Wall and spend an hour or so there before it closes. How to get taco from T3? Thank you for your help.

I don't think it is wise to take the risk, because it takes time to check out, line up waiting for taxis and head for the wall. Then you may have little time to visit before it closes. I highly recommend you go to downtown area and wander around Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. On the next morning, plan a trip to Badaling Great Wall and you will have a full visit.
