How do we get from HKIA to the Big Buddha and how much should we charge on the octopus card?

We have a stopover in HK and want to visit the Big Buddha, and return to the airport again.

Hey, you can take shuttle bus line S1 to Tung Chung MTR Station. Then walk to cable car station and take the cable car onto the mountain. Then the Big Buddha will be within 5min walking distance. If you will only visit the Big Buddha, I don't think it is need to buy an Octopus Card.
