About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

I arrive in Shanghai and I have 33 hours there before a flight to Philippines. I am a canadian

Would i need a visa to be able to leave the airport and sleep overnight and see a little bit of the city. Thanks!

Don’t worry, you don’t need a visa and you can enjoy the 72-hour free stay. Just remember to inform your airline that you want to apply for this when boarding. They will give you a document and you can finish it on the flight. After arrival, you can apply for it from the airport with the document.
