About:China Family Reunion Visa

Convert L to Q2 visa

I am now in china in an L1 which is only for 30 days but I intended to stay longer because all of my family members are already here. Is it possible to convert an L1 to Q2. What are the requirements? Do I need to undergo medical examinations?

Hi, you can try to extend the L type 7 days earlier before it expires at the exit and entry administration of local PSB to stay in China for longer time. You may need to provide your passport, the completed application form, a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, registration form of temporary residence, accommodation arrangement and the return ticket.No medical examinations are needed. There is no specific requirement for how many times you can apply for the extension. Just have a try! You can also ask the local PSB about if you can convert an L to Q2 type and detailed information.
