About:Xiamen Travel

Accompanying Dad back to his hometown in Putian from Xiamen.

He plans to stay for 2 weeks in end Oct but I think it would be so boring for me. Any suggestion or tours available to areas nearby? is it a good time to go to Mt Wuyi?

Hi, Angela! You can pay a visit to Mt. Wuyi, and the climate will be comfortable.
Besides the attractions near Putian, you are also suggested to visit other places in the province.
I’d like to give you some suggestion.

Putian: Meizhou Island, Guanghua Temple and Ma Temple.
Fuzhou: Earth Towers of Hakkas, Mt. Wuyi and Sangfang Qixiang.
Quanzhou: Qingjing Mosque - Kaiyuan Temple-Heavenly Empress-Mt. Qingyuan.
Sanming: Taining Global Geopark - Dajin Lake – Taoyuan Cave Scenic Spot-Yuhua Cave.
Ningde: Taimu Mountain- Baishuiyang Yuanyang Stream Scenic Area- Xianshan Pasture- Huayan Temple.

By the way, you can take a high speed train to all the other cities above.
