Hey, one day is enough to cover both. It is best to cycle for your trip. The Erhai Lake can be easily reached from the Ancient Town. And the Chongsheng Temple Three Pagoda is within 15-20min's walking distance from the North Gate of the Ancient Town. So you can also hike there.
