Group Tour for April to May 2018

Hi,

We are traveling compose of 9 adults and 3 children. This will be an 8 days trip coming from Hongkong to Macau to China and goes back to hongkong. Do i need to apply visa within this year or I can apply a week or two before our flight to hongkong? Our flight will be on April 25, 2018. Please help.
