Do we need a visa to board the ship?

Hi, we are planning to start a cruise from Shanghai to Singapore. We all hold NZ passports. We also want to arrive in Shanghai 2 to 3 days earlier to tour the city before boarding the cruise ship..
I understand there is 72 hour free transit period.
Wing Fong.

You don't need to apply for it because you will qualify for the free transit in Shanghai. No need to worry!
