There is also a bus that goes directly from Pudong to SZ. I haven't used it, but friends have and say it is very convenient and cheap, about 60 rmb. I believe the bus is on the lower level of the airport, but just ask when you get there and it should be easy to find. The trip is less than 2 hours.
You could also fly into Hongqiao airport in Shanghai. It is closer, and has easy access to the train station. You can take a train from there to SZ and then a taxi to your hotel. The same long distance bus that goes from Pudong to SZ stops at Hongqiao also. The bus stops in SZ in the "Times Square" area where you can take a subway into the Old Town area to your hotel. Or a taxi. They are easy to find. The fare would probably be 25-30 rmb for taxi, less than 6 for subway, depending on where you get off.
