About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

New transit regulation at Guangzhou

Is transit visa required if we have a layover of 5 hours at Guangzhou. We plan to stay at the airport only during this time.

You will be fine if you only remain in the sterile transit area and do not have other domestic flights within China (which will require you to clear immigration).
