Multiple airport transit

Do I apply for 72 h free transit in Shanghai if I fly from Taipei to Shanghai, stay in Shanghai for 72 hours and then get back to Poland from Shanghai with a transfer flight via Beijing?

You cannot use multi-stop transit if your layover is longer than 24 hours.

Thank you for the answer. But I can use 72 h free transit multiple times? For example:
1. I fly inn to Shanghai, stay there on 72 h free transit for 2 days. then fly to Taipei.
2. After 8 days I have return flight from Taipei to Shanghai. I stay there on 72h free transit and then fly back to my country?

Poland-Shanghai-Taipei-Shanghai-Poland is obviously fine for 144 hours without visa in Shanghai twice if you are on non-stop flights. But definitely not okay if you have a stop in Beijing as per your original post.
