About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

Beijing South to Dongzhimen?

We arrive by bullet train at South Station (from Nanjing) and would like to take the Airport express train to the airport. How do we get to Dongzhimen? I don't see a direct connection?

It's not a far distance, so you may take a taxi there, which takes about 20 minutes and CNY40-50.
Or you can take metro line 4 and transfer to line 2 at Xuanwumen, and then get off at Dongzhimen.

This is a great question.. I only tried a taxi from South Station once a few years ago and there were about 200 people in line waiting (and the line was not moving either due to folks jumping the line)... Taking luggage on local metro system not so great either (in my opinion), and need plan some extra time to get the tickets. I will need make this trip soon also, so will only take light luggage and I already have the metro card..

Also watch out for travel saturation during any holidays...
