Place to Sleep at SHA

I arrive at Hongqiao late at night and my connecting flight is from Pudong, 27 hours later. I will need a place to sleep for a few hours before heading to the city for a quick tour the following morning, before heading to Pudong to catch my connection flight in the evening.

1) Any suggestion for a few hours sleep at Hongqiao? I am not sure if my luggages will be transferred by the airline to the Pudong airport automatically, or I need to clear immigration and carry the luggage on my own to Pudong. I am still trying to get hold of the airline customer service. If I need to clear custom, then I suppose I will need accommodation OUTSIDE the transit area. Otherwise, I might be able to catch some sleep inside the transit hotel?
