Divorce timing, wealth, employment, general luck

Hi,

Dob 10th December 1969
I believe this year would be good to start divorce proceedings for me. My husband (July 1966) knows I want to divorce. We need to find an outcome through mediation that suits us both, and our son.
Any advice on the timing of this and when to change jobs welcome.
