Hi I want to ask if local subway in Shanghai provided with english language? and it is difficult to get direction to one spot to another spot. Thank you for your answer

Yes. The local subways in Shanghai provide with both Chinese and English languages. There are also English signposts in the stations, so it is quite convenient to get to the main attractions such as the Bund, Nanjing Road, People's Square via metro.
