About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I qualify for 72 hour free transit? itinerary is in details

Hello!

My mother and I are traveling in November to Asia, and I was wondering if we would qualify for the 72 hour free transit at Peking Airport in Beijing based on our itinerary below. You will see below we are flying from New York to Seoul, then from Seoul to Beijing, then from Beijing to Seoul for our final stop over and then leaving back to New York the same day. Our time in Beijing based on our scheduled arrival and departure flight in and out of Peking International is 70 hours and 10 minutes.

No, you won't qualify for 72 hour free transit in Beijing because Seoul-Beijing-Seoul is not a transit at all.
