Hello, can you only apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport in China?

If you want to leave the airport to explore the city during the 24 transiting time, you are required to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport. Afterwards, you can leave the airport then.0

You can apply for it when you arrive at the airport. No need to do that before your trip.0
