About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Change to Z type

Hello!
I'm from Chile and I need to change my current type into Z type.
Do you know if I can do it in Vietnam?
It seems it's not possible in Hong kong and going back to my country would be
too expensive. Thanks in advance!

Hi, it's possible for you to convert your current visa to the Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, there is no need to leave China for that. You can have a try!

Hi Frank! I-m Carolina. I asked at the Exit and Entry Bureau, but they said I should leave China, cannot do it here, since my foreign expert permit is B type. They said only A type can have it done within China.
