What is the best way to travel from Guangzhou to Tianjin by high speed train?

We would like to take the high speed train from Guangzhou to Tianjin, but I found no high speed train from Guangzhou to Tianjin. Where should we transfer? Beijing, Shanghai, or other cities? Please advise. What is the minimum time for transfer? If our luggage is over the carry-on size and needs to check in, what is the minimum time for us to get to the station before the boarding time?

You are suggested to transfer in Shijiazhuang Railway Station, since it costs least time.
First, take high speed train from Guangzhou South to Shijiazhuang, and it’s available from 8:27 to 12:50, which takes 7 to 8h 30 minutes and CNY785.5 for a second class seat, CNY1256.5 for a first one.
From Shijiazhuang to Tianjin: The high speed train takes about 2 hours and CNY122.5 for a second class seat, CNY 196.5 for a first one. The train is still available until 21:20.

The check-in can be done within 30 minutes, but you’d better to take procedure as early as possible.

Hey, a transfer at Beijing to reach Tianjin can also be a good choice. For the timing and cost, you may search on the train page on this website.
