Accomodation in xiamen

Hello, i am planning to go tl xiamen and will be there for 31 hours. I have a returned ticket, but will not be booking any accomodation as I will be staying at my grandparents house in xiamen. Is it possible to leave the airport?

If you have a S'porean passport then you are visa-exempted for 15 days, so of course you can leave the airport.
