from xicheng to capital airport

Question

Hello ..Is it a good way from Xicheng District to Capital Airport apart by taxi? My hotel is Hotel Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing.  If my flight is 10am, how early should i go to airport?Thank you and regards...Franklin

To catch your flight, you need to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Then you will have to navigate during the morning rush hours. In case of traffic jam, I suggest you use subway instead of bus. Here is the way:walk from the hotel to Fuchengmen subway station and take line 2 to Dongzhimen, where you can tansfer to Airport Express Train to Capital Airport.
