How many suitcases can you take with you?

wo people travelling from Xian to Chengdu by high spedd train in first class. Can we take two suitcases (20kg)
& one carry on?

Two pieces with a small carry-on type should be OK. By the way, do you refer to a direct high speed ride from xian to chengdu? I think they should become available only after Sep, 2017
