About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hongqiao to Pudong airport in Shanghai city

I need to Transfer from Hongqiao to Pudong airport in Shanghai city . But I have only Japan visa. Now I need to take China entry permit for this?

Prabhakar, if your total layover time in SH is no more than 24 hours, you are eligible for 24 hr direct transit in there. No need to apply for a visa for that.
