About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Taiwan to Beijing, Beijing to Ukraine

I'm flying from Taiwan to Beijing, and then Beijing to Ukraine.

Can I get the 72 hour free transit? I likely won't leave the airport. I am British.
