how to change chinese dependent Q to student X in china

Hi, I am house wife, my husband working in Beijing. I'm in Beijing now and I get admission in Hunan university. How to do process and requirements for getting visa in Beijing??

You should first prepare passport, a fully completed application form, a recently-taken passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, the admission letter and JW form from the school.
Next, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to change the Q type to an X type.

where have to apply Exit an entry administration of Beijing or Changsha, Hunan??

You can go to the local PSB in your residence area for that. For example, if you live in Changsha, you can do that at the exit and entry administration of Changsha PSB.

Chris, Thanks for your reply.
I have contacted Beijing and Changsha PSB exit and entry, they are suggested not allowed to exchange different one, must go to India apply student X in chinese embassy in INDIA.
