About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

Hi. Can I purchase Maglev & Metro Pass in advance?

Plan to use on my last day in Shanghai for unlimited metro ride then for the SMT back to the airport? I will be taking the express train on the 1st & 9th day so a round trip ticket is not feasible coz it's valid for 7 days only. Is there a discount with the pass if flight ticket is shown? Thanks.

Yeah, you can buy the ticket in advance at the Ticket Center of SMT Station or the Customer Service Center of some metro stations. But I don't think purchasing ahead of time is needed. Just get one when you will use it.

For your case, the card can be a good option. It costs CNY85 without discounts as I heard.

If you buy the single journey ticket showing your flight ticket, you can get 20% off.
