About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London to Japan via Beijing

Hi All,
I am planning a trip to Japan where I want to do a stop over in Beijing for a couple of days going and coming back.

Would I be able to fly from London to Beijing, stay there for 72 hours, then fly to Japan and stay 1 week, fly back to Beijing and stay another 72 hours and then fly back to London?

Does anyone know if that is possible?

Regards
