Is 1.25 hours enough transfer time from Vancouver to Beijing to Chiang Mai?

I am flying with Air China for all connecting flights and was wondering if 1.25 hours is enough? There isn't any other options that I can find for a longer stop over so worried that I won't make my connecting flight. Do I have to go through customs too?

So you hold the through ticket, right? If so, the time can be enough for the transfer, and you have to go through immigration transfer desk. But it is no need to reclaim the baggage.
