International Transfer @Beijing Airport - 2 tickets

Hello,

I have ONE ticket from LAX-HND-PEK on ANA (Star Alliance) arriving at 12:15 in Terminal 3 in PEK.

If I purchase a SECOND ticket from PEK-BKK on THAI or AIR CHINA (Star Alliance) departing at 15:30 or 17:05 from Terminal 3 in PEK - will I be able to avoid any immigration and be able to 'check in' for my second ticket via a transfer counter within the 'secure' zone of the airport and not need to go through immigration back to the departure hall? For many airports I know this is possible but I'm not sure about Beijing.

I do have 1 piece of luggage.
