use of octopus card on shenzhen metro

Question

We will be entering SZ from Hong Kong through Lo Ma Chau. After we clear the Chinese immigration at the Futian Checkpoint, can we use our Octopus card to get on local metro? Or do we need to buy a new ticket. If we do need a new ticket, how do we buy it given we are English speakers? Where is the Line 4 metro station in relation to Futian Checkpoint? We are trying to get to the Futian Station to catch a high speed train to Beijing and we will have two large pieces of luggage.

If it is the ordinary Octopus Card, it cannot be used in SZ, unless you hold a Hu Tong Xing with which you can take HK and SZ metro. Since you will enter through Futian Checkpoint, go to the metro station and buy a single journey ticket to local North Railway Station. You can get it through the ticketing vending machine which has English version, or at the metro Customer Service Center.Board line 4 and get off at North Railway Station. Follow the guiding signs to the railway station and catch your train.
