Does 72 Hour Visa Free Transit Apply to me?

Hi. I'm flying from Vladivostok(Russia) to Hong Kong with a 12 hour layover in Beijing. I'm taking different airlines. Does the 72 hour visa free program apply to me?

I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm only staying in Hong Kong for a day before I fly to Singapore the next day.

Regardless of different airlines, as long as you booked through tickets, you can enjoy the 72-hour visa free policy.
