About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Do you have to apply for visa again with the new admission

if you acquire a student X type to china by maybe jiangsu university and now you get a new admission letter from a different university in china and prefer to attend to the new admission probably because of full scholarship.

Yes, you need to re-apply for a student X type for that.
