About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does this needs a visa?

My flight is from Japan to Kazakhstan, but i have 2 connecting flights from Tokyo to Dalian, from Dalian to Urumchi and from Urumchi to Almaty?

Yes, you'll need a transit G type because of your stop in Urumqi.

Yes, and also note that Kazakhstan nationals are not eligible for visa-free transit.
