About:China Transit Visa

Dubai - Manila 14 hour transit

Hi, i am a Filipino travelling from Dubai to Manila. i have a 14hr layover in Guangzhou, am i allowed to go out and visit the city? or do i have to get a visa?

CK, you are eligible for 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou, no need to apply for a visa for that. You can apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at Guangzhou airport. Afterwards, you can leave the airport to explore the city.
